Taylor is an environmental activist and wildlife conservationist. She recently completed her Master’s Degree in Environmental Science and Policy from Pace University. She is the founder and host of The Hopeful Environmentalist, which is both a podcast and online media platform sharing accessible and hopeful environmental news and resources.
She has worked as a Naturalist (AKA an environmental educator) at state and local parks and led various wildlife conservation research projects with aquatic turtles and carnivores.
Her background includes:
- Environmental policy analyst for NOAA Fisheries
- Wildlife conservation work for Pace University and the Cary Institute of Ecosystem Studies
- Our Climate and the U.S. Youth Advisory Council for the United Nations Ocean Decade
- Water conservation for the White House Council on Environmental Quality
Additionally, she was selected as a member of the United States Youth Advisory Council for the United Nations Ocean Decade for 2022/2023 and currently serves as an Arctic Angel for Global Choices.
Taylor presented at the United Nations Conference of the Parties in Montreal, Canada on the topic of including people with chronic conditions and disabilities in the wildlife and environmental field and was invited to speak at the UK Mission to the United Nations on the importance of including women and girls in the climate space.
